The Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL) – Denmark


KVL is an old university offering education in the flowering areas:  Agricultural science, Agricultural economics, Horticultural science, Forestry, Landscape architecture, Landscape management, Food science, Human nutrition, Environmental science, Agricultural development, Biology-biotechnology, and Parasitology.

The KVL lines of research include molecular base for plant, animal and food production, plant production and quality, animal production, including prevention, diagnostics and treatment of animal diseases, food and human nutrition and scientific base for environmental and resource management. KVL has in many years been involved in several European research projects and are also involved in international cooperation about the educations.

Role in the project


KVL is going to contribute to the project through the compilation of information on current technologies used in northern European greenhouses. They will also  and  investigation of greenhouse grower energy requirement in the North of Europe with higher thermal energy demand. They will test the different tools developed in the project in their own facilities.
