Asociación de Cosecheros Exportadores de Frutas y Hortalizas de Almería (COEXPHAL) – Spain

COEXPHAL is an association of grower cooperatives from the southern region of Spain, through the “Federación Andaluza de Empresas Cooperativas Agrarias” (FAECA Almería) now represents more than 100 SMEs. Coexphal employs 50 personnel and is a non profit private organization. Coexphal is involved in the commercialization of the production of 8,950 growers, for a total cultivable area of 13,100 ha and a total of more than 20,000 people working. More than 50% of the growers of the area (and 60% of the total export) are represented by Coexphal. The warehouse area is of 660,500 m² and cooling chambers constitute another 213,000 m³.
